Get Your First Puff & Seeker

 

✧ Step 1: Work Toward Your First Puff

There are many ways to get your own Puff, either for free or through purchase.

▶  Free Options:

  • Raffles and Contests in #giveaways
  • Use coins in the ARPG Shop (Poki's Shop) to buy MYO slots. You can earn coins by completing quests.

▶  Paid Options:

  • Purchase MYO slots or Custom designs from Ninovel with real money through the VGen Shop
  • Look out for the official Adopt auctions in  #official-puff-auctions
  • Trading or purchasing pre-approved designs from other players, as long as it's in accordance with the Pufflings' and Artist's ToS

▶  Loaned Puffs:

  • Some players will loan you a Puff temporarily. Not all quests allow loaned Puffs, but many do.
  • Loaned Puffs do not accumulate Relationship Points.



✧ What is an MYO?

  •   MYO stands for "Make Your Own" — a slot that allows you to design your own Puff.

          To register your Puff design to the Masterlist, you will need:
    • A valid MYO slot
    • Trait Potions (based on the traits you want to use)

      ✧ What is a Trait Potion?
    • Trait Potion, or as we call them Jewel-bites, are items that allow you to apply specific traits to your MYO Puff.
       Each potion corresponds to a trait or rarity (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Special, etc.)

        You can get Trait Potions from:
           • ARPG Shop using Coins (earned from Prompt quests)
           • Gacha Pool (ticket obtained from certain quests)


 

✧ Step 2: Registering your Puff

▶ Official sale, raffle, contest, and official customs will already be registered for you and ready to play right away


▶ MYO Slots you'll have to register it by yourself by submitting the form on your MYO profile page. Remember to include the image, credits and traits, then wait for approval.
 
 

Note: Once your design is approved, you can register your Puffling in the Puffling World on Toy House.

 

✧ Step 3: Create a Seeker

Seekers are explorers from various races who followed dragon legends to the Puff Kingdom. They initially protected the Puffs from wild creatures, and in return, the Puffs offered their magical assistance. This mutual relationship led to Seekers and Puffs commonly partnering in the Kingdom.

You can get a Seeker MYO slot in Poki's Shop. You can make as many Seekers as you like, as long as you properly register them and get them approved.

  • A seeker can be a stand-in for you or any character you own. Think of it as creating a profile for yourself in the world of Puff.
  • A seeker doesn't need to have a formalized design, with basic sketches being valid options.
  • Any character can become a Seeker as long as they follow lore guidelines, such as the keystone and the white coat (see Seeker Info / Rules).
  • Seekers do not possess any magic power, but they can use crafted magical tools. 
  • One seeker can have multiple Puff partners, though each Puff bonds with only one Seeker. A Puffling cannot level up or participate in many prompts without being bonded to a seeker. 
  • A seeker can only be registered in the masterlist once they have a Puff partner, to avoid filling up the masterlist with unrelated designs!
