Act 1: Chapter 2
After saying goodbye to Poki and Momo, you made your way back to the large doors of the Main Hall and stepped inside. You had expected to hear voices, laughter, and the bustle of Seekers…
But instead, you were met with silence.
A few staff members hurried past, almost bumping into you, yet not a single one turned their head. You slowly walked farther inside.
At the center of the room, a massive crystal floated above an empty reception desk. Its light pulsed gently, reflecting against the pale wooden floor, making the entire hall seem as if it were breathing.
Your Keystone glowed faintly — no mistake. This was The Navigator Crystal that marked the guild’s location.
You stepped forward and held out your Keystone, letting it record the coordinates so it could guide you back here whenever needed.
As you waited for it to finish, you glanced around. Behind the desk stood a large cabinet filled with crystals of many colours, their reflections dancing across one another. Light streamed through the tall windows, forming golden lines that made time itself feel as though it had stopped inside the guild.
This isn’t… anything like the guild I imagined?
There were only a handful of staff moving about, but they all seemed far too busy to notice you.
Not sure what to do next, your eyes drifted to a large wooden door at the far end of the hall. On its surface was the engraved insignia of the guild, that had to be the Guild Master’s Office.
You hesitated for a moment, then slowly raised your hand and knocked softly.
knock knock…
The sound echoed through the empty hall.
A calm voice slipped through the thick wooden door.
…Come in.
The room beyond was spacious — bookshelves lined every wall, and stacks of documents sat neatly arranged everywhere… except for one messy pile sitting on the desk, which had long since succumbed to chaos.
Sunlight streamed through the windows, dancing across the soft pink hair of the lady who sat behind the desk. Her sharp eyes were calm and unwavering, as though they could see straight through one’s heart
You’re the new recruit who just joined the guild, right? Welcome. My name’s Aria.
Sorry I didn’t get up to greet you… with my desk looking like this, who’d dare move anything right?
Despite her words, she looked more like she was slacking off with a book than actually working.
Are you the Guild Master?
Heh! Nope.
I’m the High Rank Seeker here.
She propped her chin on one hand.
That mustached old ma—uh, I mean, the Guild Master—had to head out on an urgent mission, so I'm stuck here sitting in for him on short notice.
Leaning back in her chair, she glanced lazily around the room before continuing.
Normally, this place would be a lot livelier, but there’s been an emergency case, so no one’s around to give you an official welcome… What did you expect? A welcoming party?
The smirk tugging at her lips made it clear she was only just teasing.
You smiled back sheepishly — her words might’ve sounded a little strange, but there was something warm and oddly comforting about them.
Alright then, why don’t you start by telling me about yourself?
Who are you, where are you from… and what made you join this guild?
She spoke in a calm tone, a faint smile resting on her lips.
No need to sound impressive. Just be honest.
She slid a stack of papers and a quill across the desk toward you. You fill in the form as best you can.
Hmm… not bad. Looks good enough to me.
Aria picked up the card, nodded slightly in approval, then reached for a sealed letter that looked rather important.
Perfect timing, I think I’ve got just the right mission for you.
Eh…? A mission already? What about the test? I’m not ready yet!
Aria paused for a moment before letting out a soft laugh.
Truth is, we’re a bit short on people right now, so let’s just skip all those formalities, shall we?
And besides… just by looking at your Keystone, I can tell.
You found it on your own, customized it with your hands, and made it yours.
She looked at you, her gaze firm and reassuring.
That’s all the proof I need.
You couldn’t help but smile back.
I’ll have to thank Poki and Momo for that later.
Aria glanced away and carefully broke the seal on the envelope.
Alright, let’s see… a priority message from the Royal Castle, signed by Almighty King Puff…
There’s ‘URGENT!!!’ written all over it—yet somehow it says absolutely nothing?
She furrowed her brow as she read. You noticed bite marks and tiny Puff pawprints scattered all over the letter.
She shrugged it off and looked back at you.
He’s asking for a reliable Seeker to help... I think you’ll do just fine
But… that’s a letter from King Puff himself! That sounds....important?!
Oh, don't worry. You’ll see what I mean soon enough~
By the way… You don’t have a Puff partner yet, do you?
Every mission requires one — it’s a rule here.
If you don’t have one yet, don’t worry. The guild keeps a few Pufflings under its care for situations like this.
They’re not permanent, of course. Once a mission ends, they return to the guild.
Aria pointed toward the window.
Puff Castle — that giant crystal with the rotating magic ring on top — you can even see it from here.
When you’re done with the mission, just come back and report here at this bird’s nest… I mean, the Hatchery. The dorm’s right next to it, by the way.
You can drop your stuff off there first.
So, are you ready to go?
Um… I’ve meant to ask… what about your Puff partner, Aria?
Sharp eyes, huh… figures you’d notice.
Well, let’s just say I don’t have one right now.
That’s why I’m stuck here doing paperwork instead.
Alright, enough talking — get moving already! If King Puff gets mad, I’ll be the one in trouble!
Aria cut herself off quickly.
Good luck out there, rookie! Oh, and try not to break anything, alright? Because if you do, I’m the one who has to deal with it!
Aria watched the rookie leave the room with their first Puff companion. Her expression softened.
Reminds me of when I first came here…

🎯 Quest: Paper work
Quest (part 1): Paper work
Objective: Fill in your seeker ID card.
Details:
Save this template provided by the Guild. Add an image of your seeker, your name, title, or anything you want the guild to know about you. You can also just write a short sentence, like:
- "I want to travel to recover my lost memories."
- "Someone once said I might have talent… so I want to see for myself."
Important note:
- If you don’t have your own Seeker, skip this quest.
- You can't change the colour of the template
Quest (part 2): A moment together
Objective: Draw or write about your seeker with your Puffling partner.
Details: No Need for fancy detail, just show the bond between your Seeker and your puffling. Some examples are you could be playing, feeding them a treat, hiding them in your bag or having them sit in your head.
- You may use this story Seeker as your Seeker.
- For this quest, you can choose a Puffling to accompany you, either your own Puffling or one of the guild’s NPC Pufflings shown below.
Rental Pufflings available for the quest:
Requirements:
- Art: At least 1 Drawing
(The art must include a puffling and at least part of your seeker, such as their hands, head, or legs. Your seeker will only count for extra rewards if at least 1/2 of their body is visible.) - Writing: Minimum of 500 words.
